It is performed using a hand-held pen that has a series of ultra-fine micro needles that are used to deposit pigment into the skin. The process begins with the application of a topical anesthetic cream to the eyebrows to minimize the discomfort of the procedure. Next, the microblading technician will use the pen to draw individual hairs on the skin, following the natural shape of the eyebrows and using pigments that are custom blended to match the client’s natural hair and skin tone.
