eCO2 Laser

The carbon dioxide (CO2) laser, utilizing carbon dioxide as the active medium, emits a concentrated beam of light. This laser type is employed to address diverse skin conditions, including wrinkles, acne scars, age spots, warts, and skin lesions like skin cancer.

Fractional laser therapy has been used for skin preservation and rejuvenation for over 20 years. The objective is to stimulate the formation of new collagen in the deeper layers of the skin and thereby tighten the skin significantly.

In addition, eCO2 laser treatment is used to treat certain types of skin cancer. Generally to treat precancerous lesions or small superficial tumors.
It works by removing layers of skin cells by vaporizing intracellular water, which allows for the selective removal of cancerous tissue.

How does it work?

Thousands of tiny microscopic tubes are lasered into the skin using the eCO2 laser. A small part of the skin surface is damaged, so the skin appears evenly reddened. Penetration into the epidermis causes small lesions, the healing process of which stimulates collagen regeneration and leads to skin tightening.
eCO2 treatment works by removing superficial layers of damaged skin and stimulating collagen production in the deeper layers of the skin.
Due to the minimal use of lasers, the treatment is painless and achieves a rapid cure rate.
