Diode Laser

Diode laser is a type of laser used in dermatological and aesthetic medicine for the treatment of various conditions, such as rosacea, acne and varicose veins.

It works by emitting high-energy, monodirectional, coherent light, which is produced by stimulating diode atoms with electricity. This type of laser is especially effective in the absorption of hemoglobin, the pigment that gives color to the blood.

When used to treat dermatological conditions, the diode laser selectively targets the affected tissue, heating and destroying it. Depending on the application, the diode laser can emit short or continuous pulses of light that penetrate the skin at different depths, making it possible to treat different conditions in different layers of the skin.

Some conditions treated with Diode Laser:

Rosacea

1 - rosacea

The diode laser emits high-intensity light that penetrates the skin and coagulates the affected blood vessels, reducing the appearance of redness and veins.

Acne

2-Marcas-de-acné

The diode laser emits light that penetrates the skin and kills the bacteria that cause acne, reducing inflammation and the appearance of pimples.

Varicose veins

The diode laser emits light that penetrates the skin and coagulates the blood in the affected veins, making them less visible.

Results

The results of diode laser treatment for rosacea rosacea, acne and and varicose veins may vary depending on the severity of the condition and the individual patient’s response. In general, patients experience a significant reduction in the appearance of redness, veins, pimples and varicose veins.

It is important to note that the Diode laser is a medical device and it might be used by trained professionals in medical centers or specialized clinics.
