A cherry angioma is a benign tumor caused by the abnormal growth of blood vessels that accumulate in a certain area.

These can appear anywhere on the body. They are red in color and protrude into the epidermis.

Treatments

In most cases, hemangiomas do not need treatment, but if they affect cosmetic appearance or cause symptoms, they can be treated with various treatment options including: Diode Laser Treatment: Laser treatment is a common option to remove hemangiomas on the skin. The laser emits light that is absorbed by the blood vessels in the hemangioma, causing them to close and disappear. Several treatment sessions may be necessary to achieve optimal results.
